Postnatal Journey

Tijan’s Story

“After giving birth to my son last year, I wanted to find different ways to move my body that felt aligned to my goals. I reached out to Vagabond Pilates and completed a course of private sessions with Millie at about 3 months postpartum, and it honestly made such a difference to my recovery. I was struggling with pelvic floor dysfunction and lower back pain, and Millie really took the time to listen and understand exactly what I needed.

Millie met me where I was at and tailored every session to help me feel stronger, more supported, and like myself again. It never felt overwhelming, just really thoughtful and progressive. One of the biggest things for me was being able to bring my baby along. It took so much pressure off knowing I could show up exactly as I was, whether my baby was crying or smiling, and still have that time for myself.

Since finishing my 1:2:1 sessions, I’ve been attending weekly classes and the difference has been incredible. My core strength is now better than it was before pregnancy, and it helps so much with carrying my growing baby day to day. And I can confidentially say, my pelvic floor is also recovered!

The sense of community is something really special. Everyone is so welcoming, and it’s become such an important part of my routine, I genuinely couldn’t imagine not coming now.”
