  • Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout that uses a specialised machine called the β€˜Reformer’ to enhance strength, flexibility, and posture. It targets deep muscles, improving core stability and alignment.

  • Yes! Reformer Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, including beginners. We have a β€˜Rookie’ class to start you from scratch! You do not need to be fit or experienced in Pilates, you just have to get started. Your instructor will offer personalised guidance to help you build a strong foundation and progress at your own pace.

  • No prior Pilates experience is necessary! Our studio offers classes for beginners, as well as more advanced options for those looking to deepen their practice.

  • Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows freedom of movement. Grip socks are a must for hygiene and safety reasons. These can be bought in the studio for Β£15 or sourced before you attend class. Trampolining socks are not suitable. 

  • We offer both! Our studio classes are kept small with just 6 reformers. We also offer private 1:1 sessions and 2:1 sessions and provide personalised attention to ensure you get the most out of your workout. To book a private session, just email via the the contact link.

  • You can easily book a class through our website or by contacting the studio. 

  • Unfortunately, no we don’t. The studio is a small independent business and is not able to offer a free trial.

  • During your first class, your instructor will show you around the reformer and guide you through basic exercises to help you get familiar with the reformer machine. You'll focus on proper form and alignment, with modifications offered as needed.

  • Yes, Reformer Pilates is great for injury rehabilitation and recovery. It is also excellent for antenatal clients and postpartum clients. The low-impact nature of the exercises helps improve mobility, strength, and flexibility, which can aid in the healing process. To book a specialist rehab session, please contact the studio.

  • A STOTT Pilates instructor is a certified professional trained in the STOTT Pilates method, a contemporary approach to Pilates that incorporates the latest in exercise science. STOTT Pilates focuses on core stability, postural alignment, and balanced muscle development, making it accessible for all fitness levels. STOTT instructors are highly skilled in guiding clients through effective and safe workouts, ensuring personalised attention to help you reach your fitness goals. It really is the gold standard in Pilates training.
