Find your level

Whether Pilates is completely new to you or you are considering Vagabond as your next studio, we’ll help you find the right place to begin.

Every Vagabond starts somewhere. Our class system is designed to help you build confidence, understand the equipment and progress safely without guessing where you belong.

Progression is based on control, confidence, familiarity and instructor guidance rather than a fixed number of classes. More advanced sessions are by instructor invitation once you are ready.

The Vagabond Ladder

Core (Previously Build - Suitable for Rookies)

This is where it all starts, and if we're honest, where a lot of people happily stay. Core is our signature class, the one that pulls together everything that actually matters in Pilates. The principles, the essential repertoire, the transitions that make every other class click into place. Available at both studios.

Build

A varied class that builds naturally from Core, with a little more pace, variety and room to explore those “I didn’t know my body could do that” moments. Suitable for all experience levels, including anyone from Collective or Mastery who still wants a strong, satisfying session. Available at both studios.

Collective

You know the reformer, you know the repertoire, now it gets interesting. Collective is for those who've built a solid foundation and know their Elephant from their Swan. Expect harder variations, faster transitions, and a class that'll make you work for it. Available at both studios.

A woman is practicing yoga on a black mat inside a room with wooden wall paneling and a large mirror. She is sitting on a platform with one leg raised, holding her foot with one hand and her knee with the other. She is wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and black pants. The room has a window with sunlight streaming in.

Mastery

Where experience meets challenge. Mastery is for experienced Pilates practitioners who want to be pushed to their limit. Complex sequences, technical teaching, advanced variations, and an instructor who won't let you get away with anything. You've worked for your place in this room. Invite only, available at both studios.

Collective x Strength

A Collective level class with a singular focus. Tim takes the full reformer repertoire and uses spring resistance and sequencing to build genuine strength and endurance. This is not a gentle session. It’s a Tim Session. Come ready to work. Collective level and above only. Available at Lytchett only.

Chair and Tower

A blended class combining two of the most classical pieces of Pilates apparatus, the tower and the Wunda Chair, just as Joseph Pilates intended. Deceptively tough, endlessly challenging, and unlike anything else on the timetable.
Available at Blandford only.

Athletic (Tim’s Special)

Pilates turned up to 11. Fast paced, high energy and genuinely cardiovascular. Athletic Reformer takes the full reformer repertoire and pushes the tempo without ever losing the precision that makes Pilates what it is. Expect to sweat, raise your heart rate, and be reminded that Pilates and a proper workout are not mutually exclusive. Available at both studios.

Roulette

You do not get to know what is coming. The instructor chooses the apparatus, the format and the challenge. It might be reformer, tower, chair, mat or all of the above. The only guarantee is that it will be good. Available at Blandford only.

Stretch

The only time Pilates genuinely is "stretching." The reformer is one of the best tools in existence for a deep, supported stretch, and this class uses it exactly for that. Reset the nervous system, get some serious release, and hit that very specific feeling of your body finally letting go of everything it's been holding onto. All levels welcome. Available at Lytchett only.

Tower

A focused Pilates class using the Tower to build strength, control, and mobility through spring supported movement. It's a great way to explore a different side of Pilates while still working at a level that feels right for your body.
Available at Blandford only.
