Come as you are.
This is actual pilates.

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Millie
STOTT Certified
Millie served in the Royal Air Force for 21 years before a life-changing cancer diagnosis changed everything. She is now cancer free, and the experience did what those experiences tend to do; it fundamentally changed how she sees movement, her body, and what actually matters.
She found Pilates during recovery. Not as a trend, not as a workout, but as a genuine tool for rebuilding strength and learning to trust her body again. That is the lens through which she teaches, and it is why her classes feel different to most.
During her time in the industry Millie watched a growing wave of low quality, social media driven reformer workouts pass themselves off as Pilates. It irritated her enough to do something about it. Vagabond was the result, a studio built on the actual method, taught properly, by instructors who know what they are doing.
Nearly every Vagabond instructor is STOTT trained and certified. Those who are not have survived the notoriously gruelling Millie, Molly and Tim selection course, which is arguably harder.
In class she is warm, straight talking and quietly relentless about good form. She will support you completely and push you just enough. Her clients tend to arrive nervous and leave wondering why they waited so long.
Pilates is not a trend. It is not stretching. In the right hands it is one of the most powerful tools for long term strength, resilience and movement quality there is. Millie's hands are very much the right hands.
Molly
STOTT
Molly has a degree in Performing Arts and a background in sales, which basically means she can sell you on a Teaser before you've even realised what's happening and make you feel great about it.
Her route into Pilates was not exactly conventional. Years of chasing deadlines came to a sharp halt when her son arrived and completely rearranged her priorities. The magical, messy reality of small children has a way of doing that. She found Pilates, fell properly in love with it, and the rest is Vagabond history.
Molly lives with her son and an extremely opinionated Staffie. She is a firm believer in the simple things: belly laughs, cold wine, good movement and not taking yourself too seriously.
In class she is the kind of instructor who makes you feel at ease the second you walk through the door. High energy, zero intimidation, genuinely funny and absolutely serious about the Pilates. Do not let the good vibes fool you, she will notice if your form drops and she will absolutely say something.
Underneath the warmth is a real obsession with helping people get stronger, move better and leave every class feeling better than when they arrived.
Pilates should be challenging, welcoming and a little bit addictive. Molly's classes are all three.
Tim
STOTT
Tim is a former Special Forces operator turned Pilates instructor and co-founder of Vagabond Pilates. After thirty years operating in some of the most demanding environments imaginable, he swapped tactical kit for grippy socks and somehow discovered that making people shake violently in a Teaser is considerably more socially acceptable.
His approach to Pilates is direct, intelligent and unapologetically focused on results. No filler, no fluff, no classes that leave you wondering what you actually did for the last fifty minutes.
Drawing on decades of military experience, Tim brings precision, discipline and an obsessive attention to detail into every session. His classes are designed with purpose, challenging clients to move better, get stronger and actually understand what their body is doing, rather than mindlessly flinging themselves around to loud music pretending it is functional fitness.
Expect detailed coaching, strong playlists, questionable humour and at least one moment per class where you reconsider every decision that led you to a moving carriage.
Despite the no bullshit approach, Tim's sessions are supportive, approachable and built around long term progress. Whether working with complete beginners, athletes, high performers or clients recovering from injury, his focus is always the same. Build genuine strength, improve mobility and move through life with more confidence and less pain.
Tim is on a mild personal mission to make Pilates more accessible to men and drag the method away from outdated stereotypes. What Pilates actually is, is intelligent movement training that will humble you faster than most gym workouts ever could. Something the growing number of athletes, ex-military clients and sceptical husbands who now can't imagine life without a Tuesday morning class would wholeheartedly confirm.
No ego. No gimmicks. No wellness influencer nonsense.
Not your average studio. Not your average team.
